Three Six: Nick and Jeff (or Niff as their non-canon relationship/epic bromance is called) were asked to audition along with Kurt and while waiting for results, Kurt asked them how many times they'd auditioned already. Nick said 3, Jeff said 6. Since "3 6" rhymed with "G6", people have replaced the lyric "Feelin' so fly like a G6" with "Feelin' so fly like a 3 6" in reference to their audition numbers ^^ (They were introduced in ‘Special Education’)

Pink sunglasses: They’re Darren Criss’s signature thing. He is shown in many pictures wearing them and in the episode ‘Silly Love Songs’ while singing “When I Get You Alone” he puts them on in the GAP store.

The bird: The yellow bird is Pavarotti, introduced in ‘Special Education’ also and died in ‘Original Song’, who is famous for the Klaine (Kurt/Blaine) kiss. Kurt was decorating his casket when the boys shared their first kiss
